Dark Knight

The movie was awesome. As reviewed, Heath Ledger stole the show. I was saddened because his talent, as shown in this performance, would be the last to ever be shared with the world.
I have vowed from this day forward that we will NEVER go back to Stadium 8. The movie (as all new releases do) was playing in the surround sound theater which sucked ass. The film and sound was cutting out during the previews, then throughout the movie the sound was having minor issues. About 15 minutes before the end, it cut out completely so we missed some crucial dialog. This is NOT the first time we have experienced technical problems at this same theater. Is the owner of Westates punishing us heathens for going to his theater on a Sunday?? Needless to say I got our money back...but I felt it odd that the manager said "I'm so sorry-it just started doing this today", yet didn't bother NOT selling any more tickets to unsuspecting theater goers. Quality.

it's actually *not* ledger's last movie. he died during filming "the imaginarium of dr. parnassas" and his unfinished role will be completed by not one, but THREE superstars: jude law, johnny depp and colin farrel.

at least that's what i read as of late on it...

I heard they were going to replace his part since they didn't have enough 'in the can'.. they must have changed their mind.

Jess is right: "When Ledger died in the midst of production, filming had been finished for scenes placed in the real world. With the rest of production focusing on filming scenes of the troupe's travels through a magical realm, Ledger's role was recast to have new actors portray his "physically transformed versions" in the realm.[8] Depp, Law, and Farrell will portray those transformations."
