Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I have always been a HUGE Indiana Jones fan. I love the 50's era. I'm also a HUGE fan of Shia Labeouf. Maybe I, like everyone else, got way too excited about the new movie. In my opinion, it was just OK. I wasn't on the edge of my seat. I didn't cry. I did chuckle a couple of times. It was kinda chaotic. Like they tried to cram too much action into 2 & 1/2 hours.
I am thankful we didn't have to pay to see it. I know it made millions at the box office over the holiday weekend, and I'm sure we will own it when it comes out on DVD-mostly to add to our I.J. collection. It just didn't blow up my skirt. Was I expecting too much??? What WAS I expecting? The kids loved it, so maybe that is all that matters...

I felt like they took all the things that worked in the first 3 movies and jammed them into this one. It was very hodge-podge to me.

I agree. I did almost fall off my chair laughing at "they went to the space between spaces" or whatever line.

It was WAY to cheezy, in my opinion. Like that means anything to Harrison and George, though.
